On the 1st July 2016 it will be exactly 11 years to the day, since we first established our HR Consultancy business, Channing Hammond. So as we celebrate the end of one era, we also look forward to the beginning of a new one. The start of July will see us joining forces with and integrating Channing Hammond into Altair, to further strengthen and upscale the People Consultancy offering.
Working within the People Consultancy stream, we will be enhancing the existing team and its successful track record in Recruitment, HR and Interim management and contributing to Altair’s growth strategy to become a ‘one stop shop’.
So what do we bring to Altair?
Well, if you’ve worked with us before you will know we bring expertise and experience from across the full spectrum of Strategic HR and that we deliver personalised and bespoke services in a collaborative and friendly way. If you haven’t worked with us yet, we’re looking forward to meeting you and finding out how we can offer a fresh and maybe different approach to your People Strategy. Either way, we will continue to offer existing and new clients trusted advice, guidance and support that add value to your people proposition.
While we both bring all round expertise in Executive Recruitment, Assessment and Interim Management, we also have our areas of particular interest, Anna in introducing outsourcing HR packages and providing critical HR support around re-structures, mergers and redundancy situations and Hilary in developing talent through personalised development programmes, executive coaching and career transition.
Looking to the future we believe there will continue to be key challenges for businesses in how they attract, develop, engage, manage and retain talent, in ways that embrace the demographic of an ageing workforce combined with the arrival of the millennials and what’s fast becoming known as the iGeneration.
People strategies will need to be versatile and flexible, leaders will need to lead and communicate in different ways to appeal and be relevant to the needs of changing generations and their view of the world.
