Andy is an Associate Director at Altair with over 30 years’ experience in the housing sector. He qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and moved to join niche practice Rigbeys in Birmingham as a litigation partner in 1983. Andy then began advising housing associations until setting up his own consultancy in May 2011.
Andy’s main areas of work are advising on matters of governance and strategy, mergers and group structures, and restructuring. He has also completed a number of complex and sensitive investigations and inquiries.
In addition to this, Andy is Chair to Community Housing Group – the parent of four subsidiaries comprising Oakleaf, Vestia, Wyre Forest Community Housing and Worcestershrie Telecare. Andy is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire and until recently was a co-optee on the NHF Regional Committee.
