Lanek is a highly experienced project manager with over 15 years’ experience working within local government and the registered provider sectors in London.
During this time he has established a track record of successful delivery, leading on a number of key strategic reviews including:
Production of local and sub regional housing, homelessness and equality strategies
Local area housing needs assessment
Reviewing performance monitoring frameworks.
Lanek has also worked in the RP sector as a new business development manager and is experienced in site acquisition/appraisal, new build project management, purchase and repair, and disposal. He has lead on the preparation of a number of preferred partner tenders and contractor/consultant frameworks.
Over the last three years, he has been involved in a range of development projects, including large-scale regeneration activity and master planning through to undertaking resident/partner consultation.
More recently, Lanek has been working as a consultant assisting a number of agencies including registered providers, ALMOs and local and regional government. Lanek is also experienced in preparing ALMOs for Audit Commission inspections and leading on successful bids for Decent Homes Standard backlog funding.
Lanek’s range of first-hand experience across the housing sector, combined with his strategic knowledge, has enabled him to obtain a unique perspective on the challenges faced by affordable housing providers in today’s environment.
