About

Shaun has 11 years experience in the housing sector. He has most recently worked in the Development department at Notting Hill Genesis where he held the role of Technical and Cost Manager supporting the Development team in developing and implementing Cost Management, Fire Safety Quality Assurance, and general Construction Quality Management strategies. Alongside implementing these strategies Shaun was managing technical specifications in the ER’s, BIM adoption and researching opportunities with offsite construction.
After initially spending time working at BRE Global Ltd as Technical Manager for the housing certification schemes such as EcoHomes and the Code for Sustainable Homes. Shaun helped set up and run an energy and sustainability consultancy within the wider Metropolis Architectural and Planning practice. Shaun moved into the social housing sector in 2014 as Research Manager in the Sustainability Team at Peabody, looking at stock energy performance, energy efficiency retrofit, communal heating performance specification and helped to design an award winning approach to combating condensation, damp and mould in social housing. Additionally at Peabody Shaun held the role of Technical Manager in Development where he was responsible for managing and developing technical specifications, supporting project managers on technical matters across the development cycle and investigating difficult defects. Shaun also managed the external wall review in response to the Grenfell disaster and set up the Latent Defects team and process when Peabody merged with Family Mosaic. Shaun has worked closely with asset management teams breaking down cross departmental barriers.
