STOP PRESS : Altair joins forces with pod
Altair has today announced that through its parent company Aquila Group Services Plc, it has purchased pod development and financial modelling.
Co-founded by Matt Carroll and Hannah Breitschädel in 2008, pod is a multidisciplinary construction and regeneration consultancy. They specialise in all aspects of development consultancy and financial modelling including their ‘podplan’, a bespoke development scheme appraisal model.
Following the acquisition, Aquila Group’s clients will benefit from direct access to a full range of specialists in the provision of property development and project management expertise. Steve Douglas and Fiona Underwood, Co-Chief Executives of Aquila, and two of the founding partners of Altair, commented:
‘The Acquisition delivers a significant increase in our development and project management business stream. With housing associations and local authorities now being given greater incentives to develop new affordable housing, we anticipate this will be an important contributor to the growth of the Aquila Group.
