Exploring Innovation, Transformation and the Future of Housing Delivery
|Today we publish our latest ‘Future Gazing, Future Shaping’ report and if you are at the NHF Business Transformation in Housing Conference, visit us at stand 19 to discuss the findings and the opportunities highlighted. |
The report follows on from a series of three reports published in 2016 that outlined a vision for housing in 2025, document how the sector was transforming at the time and identify what can be learnt from innovations across housing and other sectors. At the time of our first Future Gazing, Future Shaping research, there was a sense of excitement around the sector – a feeling that the technology integration we have observed in other sectors would transfer to social housing and that aspects of services would be delivered quite differently by responding to the expectations of customers. In short, the sector expected social housing organisations to look very different in 2025.
Our latest report aims to track how much progress has been made in the sector in delivering this transformation. It identifies that although innovation and transformation are topics being considered by most in the sector, things haven’t moved on a huge amount since 2016, and there is more to be done.
