Altair successfully sourced a site that was in line with SageHaus’s strategy and ethos of developing retirement homes set in a ‘peaceful rural setting with well-connected amenities and transport links’.
Following discussions with various owners and after overcoming a number of challenges, Altair successfully sourced a plot of land within the desired location of Yorkshire to allow SageHaus to develop their next scheme.
This was the first off-site purchase for SageHaus and is therefore a landmark acquisition for their development portfolio. This sale also demonstrates Altair’s ability to accommodate the specific requirements of bespoke housing developers within the UK to identify and broker new opportunities between purchasers and vendors.
Altair secured a subject to planning sale of the site in Kirk Hammerton to SageHaus. The sale of this site will enable SageHaus to develop a unique collection of two bedroom single level retirement homes in a rural but extremely well connected location in the heart of Yorkshire.
