Delivering ESOS Compliance and Identifying Energy Saving Opportunities for Fairhive
Supporting Fairhive through Phase 3 ESOS compliance while uncovering practical opportunities to improve energy efficiency, sustainability and reduce costs.

Fairhive appointed Altair to undertake an Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) Phase 3 assessment, helping the organisation meet its regulatory obligations while gaining valuable insight into its energy performance.
Working closely with Fairhive, Altair collated and analysed energy consumption data across the organisation, including energy used within buildings and business travel. This provided a comprehensive understanding of overall energy use and enabled the development of an audit sample representing a range of building archetypes across the portfolio.
Altair then carried out detailed energy audits at selected sites to identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs. The assessments included in-depth reviews of energy data, consumption profiling, energy breakdown analysis, and the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to support ongoing monitoring and reporting.
Following the audits, Altair produced a series of practical and costed recommendations covering building fabric improvements, building services and operational processes. Advice was also provided on suitable financing options and delivery programmes to help Fairhive prioritise and implement energy-saving measures over the short, medium and long term.
In addition to identifying efficiency opportunities, Altair supported Fairhive throughout the compliance process. This included assisting with the preparation of the required ESOS Evidence Pack, ensuring that all regulatory requirements were met, and providing guidance through the final submission process with the Environment Agency.
