About the project
When Phoenix Community Housing received their IDA call, they wanted support from an external team who they could trust to provide an honest and thoughtful conversation to ensure the board and executive team were well prepared and able to deal with any issues that arose from the review. Altair’s experienced team were able to assess all aspects of performance and offer strategic recommendations and implementation plans to achieve first class governance.
Results
Phoenix Community Housing retained the highest standards in the IDA assessment from the Regulator of Social Housing and achieved a G1/V1 for another 3 years.
Whilst we had worked with Altair before, it was really important for Phoenix to get the best consultants for our IDA support, Cathy and Jim provided the right balance of support and challenge from proposal through to delivery. It was great that we could take a team based approach where we could trust each other with the sensitive matters that arise during such a review. The support was part of our wider IDA preparations providing coaching and advice, focusing mainly on practice interviews and feedback for our Executive Team and Board Members.
