Ensuring Board skills and strategic objectives are aligned for future success
Altair Aptitude enabled Progress Housing to fully understand and record the skills and key attributes of board, committees, and subsidiary board members.
Progress Housing Group were committed to upholding great governance through having an effective board, supporting committees and subsidiaries. This was a key corporate goal for the Group. Altair’s governance experts worked with the leadership teams at Progress to develop a revised skills matrix which included the technical and soft skills required to deliver the Group’s strategic plan. Once the skills matrix was in place, Altair’s interactive excel based tool Aptitude was used to provide ongoing analysis and insight on any current and future skills gaps.
Altair Aptitude enabled Progress to visually record the skills and other key attributes of members on their Board, committees and subsidiary boards. This includes diversity levels and clearly models the impact of timed changes to each entity’s composition.
