Marketing Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join Altair's marketing team. We are looking for a marketing coordinator with experience in a broad range of administration activities and an understanding of office management and marketing principles.

Location:                  Home working – with occasional  travel to London/Birmingham offices

Remuneration:      £26k per annum, dependant upon experience

Commitment:         Mon-Fri 35 hours per week

As Marketing Coordinator your main responsibilities will be to support the Marketing Team to execute Altair’s marketing activity, manage our databases, measure performance, and provide market/competitor intel for continuous improvement.  You will support expansion into new markets, execution of campaigns, client events, and content production, and will support a variety of projects across all Altair’s business streams and sectors. You will report to Jennifer Rolison, Marketing Manager, with support and close collaboration with the rest of the team.

Altair’s Marketing Coordinator will work closely alongside the Marketing Manager and Altair’s Marketing Executives to deliver internal and external marketing and communication strategies across the housing, education, charity and sports sectors.

You will be diligent and self-motivated with experience of working within a small/medium sized organisation; ideally within the education, charity, and sports sectors. You will be committed to adding value to internal teams. You will support the marketing team and key business leads, with the delivery of all marketing activity at Altair, analysing our performance to drive improvements, and undertaking market research to enable us to remain competitive in a changing market.

The role provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a growing team and organisation. This role will be critical for the smooth operation of the marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing and developing contact databases (HUBSPOT – maintenance and updates of data and upholding internal processes)
  • Managing marketing inboxes
  • Proof-reading marketing literature (ebulletins, press releases, case studies, reports etc) to ensure the brand is kept at a high standard
  • Conducting market research and managing client surveys
  • Developing surveys, analysis of results and reporting on findings
  • Employing marketing analytics techniques to gather data (social media, web analytics etc.)
  • Reporting on marketing campaigns and marketing metrics
  • Providing technical support for online meetings, webinars and events, including the organisation of monthly staff webinars
  • Support internal comms from Marketing Team and other employee led groups
  • Assisting in the organisation and providing technical support for marketing activities (e.g., promotional events, client dinners, conferences, digital campaigns, webinars, ebulletins etc.)
  • Organising business cards and corporate or internal collateral as required
  • Supporting consultants with brand templates and being a brand ambassador across the business
  • Coordinating with and supporting bid management requirements
  • Website updates and admin
  • Coordination of marketing calendars and general administrative support to the Marketing Team
