Principal Consultant, Digital and Technology

You will be an expert in your field with a well-established track record and experience of working in housing, consultancy or a similar environment. Location: This position will mean you will be working across the country at a time and place that matches our clients needs and overnight stays will not be uncommon (post pandemic) so flexibility will be paramount. Remuneration: £60k plus benefits.

Consultants will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, using their skills and experience to help drive efficiency and financial gains. These roles require a strong mix of strategic and technical experience alongside a good appreciation of emerging technologies and trends. Consultants will need to be self-motivated and highly skilled IT professionals with outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills. You will need to build confidence with clients and identify opportunities to extend our reach to increase the overall value that Altair offers to our clients. Experience of social housing operations and the technologies and systems that support them is desirable.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for delivering your own work so will be able to work efficiently, managing competing priorities and multiple deadlines. You will also be comfortable at working at a variety of levels, including; working with senior clients, but also completing data analysis, research and reporting.

With these areas in mind, the successful candidates will need to be self-motivated and willing to take responsibility for their own work and career development. You will also have an active interest in our clients’ sectors and the work we deliver for our clients.
