Emma joined Altair in August 2019 and has worked in affordable housing development since graduation, starting in a London local authority in an enabling role, before moving into various roles at housing associations in regeneration, delivery and new business. Her most recent roles have been leading new business teams at housing associations, securing new development opportunities for their development programmes.
Emma specialises in complex transactions, unlocking stalled sites to deliver implementable planning consents and identifying models of delivery, including establishing joint ventures and contracting with special purpose vehicles. Emma has worked on a range of high-profile projects including the affordable housing at the former 2012 Olympic Village and Battersea Power Station, as well as s106s, supported housing developments and refurbishment projects.
