Gilly has over 10 years of housing experience, starting her career as a graduate in housing management, before moving into and eventually leading a housing policy and strategy function for a central London borough. Whilst there, she carried out a stock options review and established and led a programme of activities including an Asset Management Strategy and Regeneration Strategy, establishing a programme of regeneration sites. Moving into regeneration and development first at a local authority and then for a G15 Registered Provider, and working in a new business function for 4 years prior to joining Altair, Gilly has extensive knowledge and experience of land acquisition, due diligence, establishing joint ventures, responding to public sector bids and securing planning permission.

Since joining Altair in 2018, Gilly has worked as a Head of New Business securing a 1,700 unit regeneration and over £100m grant funding, and as a Project Director, establishing a corporate JV, securing HIF funding and managing the design development and consultation process.
