In September 2019, Simon joined Altair as a Graduate Consultant. Simon works across the spectrum of Altair’s consultancy. He has worked on a variety of projects, including business planning, process redesign and financial viability assessments.
Before starting at Altair, Simon gained a bachelor’s degree in Geography at the University of Bristol and then worked as a graduate planner at a Bristol-based planning consultancy. In this role, he completed a broad range of planning activities from undertaking planning applications to policy analysis. Following this, Simon completed a master’s degree in Planning, Growth and Regeneration at the University of Cambridge. This academic experience awarded him a confident understanding of property markets, housing and policy.

- Policy writing
- Research for a Housing Association’s growth strategy
- A deep dive review of a Registered Provider’s acquisition process
