Altair International specialises in emerging markets, with a proven track record of successful projects spanning Africa and Asia. Our focus aligns with the observation that regions most susceptible to climate change are experiencing rapid urbanisation.
Effective urban planning and the widespread adoption of low-carbon innovations can foster carbon-neutral, sustainable, liveable, and healthier cities. However, substantial private financing is essential to bridge the gap between typically low public financing in emerging markets and the costs associated with a low-carbon transition.
We acknowledge that urban affordable housing presents a profound global challenge, impacting at least 1.2 billion people residing in inadequate housing conditions.
