Clare is a Director within the Governance and Regulation team at Altair with over 30 years’ experience in the social housing sector. Clare has an excellent track record in the sector and has a unique and dynamic skill set having worked with registered providers, ALMOs and local authorities.

About Clare

Clare provides support for governance and regulatory compliance, including inspections and consumer standard compliance, along with board development and change, interim director specialist support, strategic and operational management. Clare’s portfolio, as both a director and consultant, includes an extensive range of culture change management, people management, strategic planning and customer excellence. Clare is able to share her wealth of knowledge as an experienced non-executive director, committee chair and member responsible for complaints.

Clare offers interim executive and consultancy support, working collaboratively with teams to achieve the best solutions, and uses a critical, fast paced and solution focused approach, tailored to adapt to clients’ needs.

Fun Facts

Clare was very fortunate to be an NHS responder volunteer over recent years, doing one off ‘call and chats’ to people across the country. She had some amazing conversations with people who would tell her about their life stories and some of the escapades they got up to!
