Dr. Bekah Ryder (she/her)
Bekah is an experienced researcher working within social housing. She uses mixed methods and is passionate about using evidence to develop policy and practice.
Expertise
Bekah works with large national datasets, designs and undertakes bespoke surveys, and specialises in qualitative research using interviews and focus groups. She is adept at project management and policy development.
About Bekah
Bekah joined Altair in November 2022. She worked in town planning, she moved into research, undertaking a PhD on young people living in mixed community developments. She worked for community development and children’s charities before moving to the National Housing Federation (the trade body for housing associations in England).

Rightsizing project for local authority, undertaking mixed method research to develop a rightsizing policy for the local authority and their registered providers.
Research into flooring provision in social housing, seeking to understand current practice and what might drive improvements in standards.
Developing inclusive recruitment toolkit for use by boards of housing associations on behalf of trade body.
