Dr Simon Hill (they/them)
Dr Simon Hill is a housing practitioner who has a strong blend of practical and academic expertise that they bring to Altair’s change and transformation projects.
About Simon
After completing the graduate scheme at Altair, Simon went onto work at the New Economics Foundation, principally supporting a campaign for more social housing, before becoming strategically and operationally involved in community-led housing organisations. This included an interim role as the CEO of Bristol Community Land Trust, a community-run asset-owning Registered Provider of Social Housing. Most recently, Simon completed a PhD at the University of Bristol Business School in Management which specialised in housing philosophy and an advocation for mainstream social housing actors to take up the innovations of community-led housing organisations.
Now Simon is focused on Altair’s change and transformation projects using their keen analytical ability and aptitude for creative thinking to help organisations improve, innovation and, ultimately, achieve their social mission.
